IT USED TO BE ABOUT SERVICE, NOW IT'S ABOUT MILKING EVERY $ THEY CAN. THE U.S. POST OFFICE USED OFFER SURFACE MAIL, PARCEL POST FOR OVER SEAS SHIPPING. LAST YEAR THEY NOT ONLY DID AWAY WITH THIS FAIR PRICED SERVICE, THEY DID NOT REPLACE IT WITH SOMETHING ELSE, AND RAISED THEIR PRICES...WITHIN AMERICA THEY OFFER "MEDIA MAIL" THAT WOULD BE FINE IF THEY OFFERED IT WORLD WIDE FOR ABOUT 50% LESS OF THEIR ABNORMAL OVER PRICED SHIPPING..IF YOU WERE TO BUY A USED BOOK TODAY FOR .99c IT COULD COST UP TP $50. POSTAGE. HOW SICK!!!

The postal service has been complaining now for a few years about how bad they have it. Is it any wonder? If you constantly scam people at the counter day in and day out....you will soon be called out and eventually, you could be out of business.
I hate to see a historical institution like the postal service go out of business, but they have become greedy and avarice. Close the doors! We don't need more theives; we need honest service for a reasonable price. With the postal service, we get neither. Now, they are trying to lobby the government for their own bail-out! That's what we need...bail out another greedy business. That worked out great the last time, huh?
I say they sink or swim just like the rest of us have to. That's what we should have told all the damn banks and corporations that stuck their greedy hands in our pockets during the government hand-out's. Some thanks the American people got for the help. If they are avarice enough to sink...let them sink.
