With no airplay (there are no real rock stations in Melbourne) and little if any media coverage this will not be the event that it should be. Journey is opening (why?) better choices would have been Kahvas Jute, Madder lake, or other classic Aussie bands. Anyway, Purple will be as great as ever, GET TICKETS NOW AT THE FOLLOWING!!!

Most of the time "covers" albums don't work. The originals are so entrenched in our minds that the covers often sound awkward, or like second rate out-takes. Status Quo and Queensriche come to mind.

Christmas is not about family, gifts, getting drunk, trees, lights, and all the rest of what we are flooded with. In it is only partly about "baby" Jesus. Everybody love "Baby Jesus" He does not judge you!!! The fact is that sin had to be paid for, us worms can not do it for ourselves. God sent His Son (YES MUSLIMS GOD DOES HAVE A SON) to be Born sinless of a virgin, live a perfect life so that he could take our place on the Cross.

When Elvis played the Garden in June of 1972 the press had yet to turn on him. The King was at the peak of his powers and RCA should have recorded AND FILMED all 4 shows, but for various reason RCA treated Elvis as an afterthought

URIAH HEEP-WAKE THE SLEEPER CD

AFTER 10 LONG YEARS URIAH HEEP WITH THEIR BEST RECORDING SINCE 1978. This cd is shorter and more to the point than their 1998 release. I would put this just a notch under PRIME Heep of the 70's. The one this that eats away at me and has been an ongoing theme on Heep albums in the post ken Hensley era is the anti God/Bible-ness in their soongs. It show that those that are ignorant on such a vital issue should not even try to deal with it. That being said most "pastors" and so called "Christians" today are in the same boat
